A warrant was issued for a Union City woman following the loss of a wallet on Nailing Drive.
Union City police were called to the Dollar General Store, after a wallet was dropped from a shopping bag on the business parking lot.
Video showed the wallet lying on the parking lot in front of the victim’s vehicle.
An individual, later identified as 48 year old Angela Elaine Murrell, was seen backing a vehicle from a parking spot, then stopping where the wallet was located.
As she drove away, the wallet was gone.
Police traveled to the East Gate apartment of Ms. Murrell, where the car in the video was located.
After no success in locating her at the scene, the victim’s wallet was later located at Martin Luther King Avenue and North Clover Street.
The police report stated all items were still in the wallet, with the exception of $400 in cash.
