Union City fire fighters were called to a fire at a grain facility on Monday.
Firefighters arrived at Harvest Grain, on Martin Luther King Drive, to see smoke coming from an upper conveyor system.
Fire Chief Karl Ullrich said crews were on the scene from approximately 11:30 until 3:00, and were working almost 100-feet above ground.
Chief Ullrich said parts of the conveyor system had to be dismantled to extinguish the fire.
