The Obion County Commission has approved a new board member for District 5.
During Monday’s monthly meeting, Commissioner James Beasley nominated Taylor Pierce to fill the seat of Harris Pitts, who recently resigned.
County Commissioners voted 18-0 to accept Ms. Pierce, who was in attendance.(AUDIO)
Following the meeting, Ms. Pierce was greeted by Beasley and Shane Sanford, who also represent District 5 in Obion County.
District 5 represents Hornbeak, Samburg and Cloverdale.
