Martin resident Celeste Taylor has announced her candidacy for Ward 1 alderwoman.
Ms. Taylor has lived in Martin for over forty years, twenty-six of those being employed with the City of Martin and has experience as a city employee and as a department head.
Ms. Taylor says she has 36 years working in local government and believes she can make a contribution to the city board and the city of Martin with her skills and knowledge in human resources training.
She went on to say she will always answer her phone and listen to the needs of the citizens and employees
Ms. Taylor is married to her husband Maurice Taylor and they have two sons.
