Obion County Fall Fest will honor the annual “Pride of Obion County” on Wednesday.
This year’s recipient of the county’s highest honor is LeEllen Smith.
Mrs. Smith is the wife of Obion County General Sessions Judge Jimmy Smith, and the founder of OUTsideIn in Troy.
A graduate of Obion County Central High School, who studied at both UT-Martin and Freed-Hardeman University, Mrs. Smith created the successful OUTsideIN in 2013 to help and empower women by creating jobs in a small manufacturing environment.
The “Pride of Obion County” luncheon will take place at Discovery Park of America at noon.
