The City of Mayfield officially broke ground for a new city hall and police department.
Kentucky Governor Andy Bashear, Senator Mitch McConnell and others were in attendance for the occasion.
Senator McConnell spoke about rebuilding Mayfield at the event.
Mayfield lost its city hall and police department in the 2021 December tornado.
