In middle school football, South Fulton defeated Dresden 30-26 in the Reelfoot Conference championship game Thursday night.
South Fulton scored the winning touchdown on a 22-yard pass from Parker Dowdy to Jakob Cooley with 29 seconds remaining in the game.
Brady Parnell led the Red Devil offense with three rushing touchdowns and earned Offensive MVP honors for the conference championship.
Dresden’s Caiden Mount rushed for two scores and received the game’s Defensive MVP award for his play at linebacker. Athan Spaulding completed a touchdown pass to David Odle, and Cannon Floyd returned a kick for a Lions score.
South Fulton finished the season undefeated at 7-0. The Reelfoot Conference title was the second in five years for the Red Devils.
Dresden ended the campaign at 5-2.
Following the game, the Reelfoot Conference announced the members of this year’s All-Conference team.
