A freshman at the University of Tennessee at Martin has been crowned as Ohio Valley Conference Golfer of the Week.
Cole Isbell becomes only the 19th different Skyhawk golfer to win this award and the first since his brother Dax Isbell brought home the honor on Febuary.
Competing in just the third collegiate tournament of his career, Cole placed seventh in the field of 84 golfers at the event hosted by Arkansas State at RidgePointe Country Club.
Cole currently ranks seventh in the OVC in scoring, collecting a 70.6 stroke average over eight rounds.
UT Martin continues its fall schedule on Oct. 14-15 when it heads to the Pinetree Intercollegiate hosted by Kennesaw State.
