Union City Council members have agreed to seek funds for a new spec building in the Industrial Park.
During Tuesday’s meeting, City Manager Johnny McTurner sought permission to apply for a $1.65 million dollar Fall Site Development Grant.(AUDIO)
McTurner also explained the responsibility of the five-percent local grant match, which totaled almost $82,500.(AUDIO)
Following the discussion, Council member unanimously agreed to apply for the grant for the Union City Industrial Development Board.
