The WTSBOA Marching Festival, that was scheduled for Saturday morning at Union City’s War Memorial Stadium, has been canceled due to the expectation of continued heavy rain.
School Communications Director Mike Hutchens said there will be no make-up date.
A decision on the Union City Invitational, which is slated for Saturday evening, will be made early Saturday.
The decision will be made after field conditions are assessed by band director Jason Deem and other contest officials.
Two dozen schools have signed up to participate, according to Deem.
