The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for the entire Ken-Tenn area.
The watch will go into effect Thursday night at 7:00 and continue until 7:00 on Saturday morning.
Forecasters say the local area could receive 3-to-4 inches of rain, with some locations receiving higher amounts.
The heavy rainfall could cause flooding in poor drainage areas, with street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers also possible.
