The UT Martin soccer team defeated SIUE 2-1 Sunday on Sunday.
Peyton Cook and Makayla Robinson scored both goals for the Skyhawks while Robinson led the team. Goalkeeper Mac Titus faced 20 shots and made eight saves in 90 minutes.
Head coach Mike Varga said the game was a great way to start off the conference schedule and he was proud of his team.
UT Martin will wrap up its four-match road trip with OVC rival Southern Indiana on Thursday.
