Dr. Anthony Delmond has been chosen to serve as the new head of the Tom E. Hendrix Chair of Excellence in Free Enterprise at the UT Martin.
The position was previously held by Dr. Tommy Cates, who retired in December.
Mr. Delmond is an associate professor of agricultural economics at UT Martin, where he has been teaching since 2018. He will become an associate professor of economics when he assumes the Hendrix Chair on January 1st.
The Hendrix Chair of Excellence in Free Enterprise was established to promote a better understanding of the nation’s economic system and provide entrepreneurship opportunities for students at UT Martin.
