Activities with the Banana Festival get underway at 8:00 this morning with the Rotary Club Car Show.
The car show will take place until 2:00 on Lake Street.
At 9:00, vendors will open for business in the downtown area, along with the Kiwanis Cornhole Tournament.
At 10:00, a Banana Eating Contest will be held on Lake Street.
Several activities start at 11:00, including Banana Brawl Wrestling at Pontotoc Park, the Banana Cabana at the Pontotoc Building, Kids Activities and a Dunkin Booth.
The Doggy Pageant will begin at 2:00, with the Lions Club Grand Parade starting at 4:00 on Broadway Street in South Fulton to Lake Street in Fulton.
Following the parade, the one-ton banana pudding will be served in front of the Meadows Hotel.
Entertainment on the Unity Park Stage will start at 6:00 with the 2024 Fulton’s Got Talent winner, followed at 7:00 with the Kimberlie Helton Band and the headlining concert at 8:30 by Blanco Brown.
