During the Weakley County Commission meeting in Dresden, Dennis Doster was re-elected as Chairman of the Commission, while County Mayor Dale Hutcherson was elected as Chairman pro-tem.
The Commission voted to proceed on the sale of the Weakley County Nursing and Rehab Center.
Renovation of the press box at Gleason School was approved, but the Commission did not approve a project to upgrade internet cabling in Weakley County schools.
The Commission also voted to allow the Chamber of Commerce to move forward with applying for a grant to build a new co-working space in downtown Dresden.
The Commission will have their next meeting on November 18th.
