The Martin Police Department says it has been investigating several threatening social media posts throughout the day.
Extra officers were placed at all Martin Schools. The police department is working directly with the Department of Homeland Security to check the posts.
Currently there are no immediate threats discovered.
The Martin Police ask parents to monitor their children’s usage of social media and cell phones.
