The Union City boys’ golf team placed fourth in an 11-team field at the annual Patriot Classic at Paris Landing State Park yesterday.
The Tornadoes’ scored 339. Dickson County won with a 323 in the 18-hole tournament.
Copeland Chism fired a 79.
Brody Riley came in with an 84,
and Gavin McGuire and Finn Frankum each shot 88 for the Purple and Gold.
Alli Kate Frilling represented the Union City girls’ team with a 95.
Union City will play at Trenton Thursday.
HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL
Milan 3, UC 0
Union City was swept on the road by the Lady Bulldogs, losing 25-13, 27-25, and 25-9.
The Twisters are now 4-2 heading into Thursday’s match at Lake County.
UC was guilty of 53 errors vs. Milan on Tuesday.
Addison Carr had 11 assists, while Brianna McBride was credited with nine digs and four kills. Clare Atwill registered six digs, Ca’Lae Ervin had five kills and four digs, and Allysia Davis finished with four kills for Union City.
