Communication Workers of America under the employment of AT&T are among those who are currently on strike in Union City.
Rick Cagle, an AT&T lineman is among those on strike.
Nine states are participating in the protest for what employees feel are unfair labor practices by AT&T.
Cagle went on to say that some customers are experiencing disruptions in parts of the United States. There may be some localized outages.
