Good weather has allowed the Obion County Highway Department to make some needed repair of roads.
County Mayor Steve Carr told Thunderbolt News about some of the resurfacing projects around the county.(AUDIO)
Mayor Carr said the counties own asphalt plant has been a benefit to the department.(AUDIO)
Highway Superintendent Kevin Dunn said the county maintains about 417 miles of hot-mix roads.
Plans call for approximately 20 miles of blacktopping this season.
