This year’s Obion County Fall Fest “Pride of Obion County” is LeEllen Smith.
Mrs. Smith is the founder of OUTsideIn, a nonprofit organization founded in 2013 in Troy, which employs women who have encountered problems that includes addiction, incarceration and a lack of basic education.
Mrs. Smith’s mission was to use the skill of sewing to encourage, educate and mentor those who are marginalized.
Products made at the OUTsideIN workshop includes unique luggage, fannie packs, backpacks and other travel gear.
Mrs. Smith will be officially honored at the Obion County Fall Fest “Pride of Obion County” Luncheon on October 9th at Discovery Park of America.
