
The Hickman-Fulton County Riverport Authority has been awarded funding for three projects.
The newly created Kentucky Public Riverport Construction and Maintenance Grant will provide the Hickman-Fulton County port with $481,900 for repair to a mooring dock cell.
The actual cost of the repair is $550,000.
The Hickman port was also awarded funds from the $500,000 Riverport Improvement Grant.
The riverport was announced to receive $65,376 toward the total cost of almost $82,000 for a dock dredging project.
The grant also awarded $19,600 toward the cost of $24,500 for a spreader bar and coil hooks project.
