Several Small Earthquakes Reported Around Ridgely Area in Lake County

Several small earthquakes have been reported over the last week near Ridgely in Lake County.

The Center for Earthquake Information reported a registered 2.0 tremor on August 19^th, followed by a 1.7 on August 20^th and a 1.6 tremor on August 21^st.

The strongest of the earthquakes took place near Paschall Road, northwest of Ridgely on August 23^rd, and was registered at 2.4.

Almost 40 registered tremors have occurred along the New Madrid Fault Line in Lake County this year.
