It was an emotional victory for South Fulton High School last Friday night, as the Red Devils beat Ballard Memorial 40-22.
School Communications Director Lauren Kendall said the game was dedicated to the memory of Emma Williams, a beloved classmate and team manager, who passed away earlier in the week.
The team and supporters honored Emma with a touching tribute, releasing pink balloons and unveiling a memorial banner.
In a show of solidarity, even Ballard Memorial fans wore pink to support South Fulton High School.
