E W James Vice President Nick Flippin has announced the EW James store in Martin is transitioning to a Save A Lot Food Store in the University Commons shopping center.
Mr. Flippin said this will allow E W shoppers to save extra money on their food bill and will be able to still have a full-service butcher shop in-store.
He went on to say the decision was made to help customers get the very best prices while continuing to remain under the EW James umbrella. A grand opening will take place later in September.
In addition, the company is now offering on line grocery shopping.
EW James has a large foot-print with stores in Dresden, Union City, Huntingdon, McKenzie, Paris, Ripley, Troy, Waynesboro. The company recently celebrated their 90th anniversary.
