UT Martin Chancellor Dr. Yancy Freeman announced that UTM has set a goal of reaching an enrollment of 10,000 students by 2030 at the annual university-wide meeting.
Chancellor Freeman said the university’s goal includes face-to-face, online, and hybrid students. It would only take a 5.3 percent increase each year until 2030 to meet the goal.
Dr. Freeman stated Future student growth would allow UTM to thrive at a time when many colleges are eliminating programs and closing.
