The City of Hickman will soon be under the guidance of a new Chief of Police.
Following an interview process, Commissioners choose Hickman native Ryan Amberg to lead the department.
After a 4-0 vote, with one abstaining, Amberg told Thunderbolt News about his career and opportunity to lead the department.(AUDIO)
City Manager Jennie Overall said Amberg’s law enforcement work made him the best candidate for the job.(AUDIO)
Amberg said he anticipated starting the new job in the next two weeks.
