Two officials with the Obion County School System have been recognized for their efforts in raising teen traffic safety awareness.
Obion County Central Principal Corry Essary and Coordinated School Health Director Chastity Homra were presented the “Gold Safety Award” by the Obion County Prevention Coalition.
The award is sponsored by the Tennessee Highway Safety Office in conjunction with the Reduce Tennessee Crashes Traffic Safety Program.
The honor recognizes tireless efforts in reducing teen crashes and traffic safety within the school system and community.
