The City of Dresden has called a special board meeting on Monday.
The purpose of the meeting will be to declare a vacancy on the board as former Alderman Dale Hutcherson resigns to take office as Mayor of Weakley County.
The vacant Alderman seat will be placed on the November ballot for a two year term.
