The National Weather Service says there is the chance of heavy rainfall and strong thunderstorms in the local area.
Weather Service officials have placed Lake, Obion, Weakley and Henry County, along with all of Western Kentucky, in a Level 1 zone for excessive rainfall and severe thunderstorms this evening.
That threat includes damaging winds and hail.
The Level 1 zone for isolated severe storms will again cover all of West Tennessee and Western Kentucky for Friday.
