The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for Thursday.
Forecasters say actual daytime temperatures in the low to mid-90’s will create heat index values as high as 111 degrees.
In Northwest Tennessee, Lake, Obion, Weakley, Dyer and Gibson County are included in the advisory area.
Weather Service officials have placed the advisory period from 11:00 until 9:00 Thursday night.
