Crews with the Marshall County Rescue Squad were called to two separate emergencies on Kentucky Lake over the weekend.

The Rescue Squad received a mutual aid call from Kentucky State Police to help search for a missing person in the Turkey Bay area.

Crews found an individual floating in the Bay Area South of the Fenton Boat Ramp.

The drowning victim was taken ashore and turned over to the Trigg County Coroner.

Crews were called out again around 6:00 on Sunday evening for mutual aid from Livingston County.

Two people were jumping from a barge on Kentucky Lake, when only one of those individuals resurfaced.

Boats were deployed from the Kentucky Dam Marina to search for the missing jumper.

Rescue Squad officials said the use of sonar and two divers aided in recovering the missing person.

The drowning victim was turned over to the Livingston County Coroner’s Office.
