The Ohio Valley Conference announced that UT Martin registered 29 Academic Medal of Honor recipients with a 4.0 Grade Point Average.
The 29 Skyhawk honorees are a school record. UT Martin has combined for 410 OVC Academic Medal of Honor recipients since joining the league in 1992.
The OVC Academic Medal of Honor is given annually to the student-athletes who achieve the highest GPA in a Conference-sponsored sport.
A total of 11 separate Skyhawk athletic programs garnered at least one OVC Academic Medal of Honor winner, led by women’s basketball and softball with five each.
