Owner of The Flower Box, Stephanie Kemp, addressed the Dresden City Board at their meeting Monday about the damages to her building due to the city hall construction.
Mrs. Kemp said the construction company had nailed plastic sheets to the side of her building to block construction debris, but had not previously discussed doing this with her.
Mrs. Kemp requested that the city board not make a final payment to the construction company until after Henson Construction paid to have her damages fixed.
This was the third incident that Mrs. Kemp has had with Henson Construction.
Cary Henson, owner of the construction company, assured Mrs. Kemp that all damages to her building would be fixed by completion of the project.
