Funeral services will take place today for longtime Union City radio personality Jim Adcock.
The 74 year old Adcock passed away Thursday in Union City.
Adcock first went to work in radio at WENK in 1965, and was later part of the original group of broadcasters that became KYTN.(AUDIO)
His radio career included both on-air and sales, plus his community work with the Union City Jaycees.
A retirement celebration was held for Adcock at the Thunderbolt Broadcasting studios in Union City in late March, honoring his 59 year of service.
Funeral services will take place today at 4:00 at White-Ranson Funeral Home with burial in East View Cemetery.
