Today is Election Day in Tennessee

Today is Election Day in Tennessee.

Voters will go to their respective polling stations for the State and Federal Primary and State and County General Election.

In Obion County, twelve polling stations will be open from 8:00 until 7:00.

In early voting in Obion County, 1,349 ballots were cast.

Contested races on the local ballot include District 24 State Senate, where incumbent Senator John Stevens is challenged by Charles “Charlie” Cooper.

The District 77 House of Representative race has incumbent Rusty Grills facing James “Bubba” Cobb.

Obion County school board seats for District 1, 3, 5 and 7 are unopposed.
