77th District State Representative Rusty Grills has retained his seat in Nashville.
Grills posted an impressive election win over challenger James T. “Bubba” Cobb in the State and Federal Primary election.
In the 77th District of Obion, Lake and Dyer County, Grills unofficially received 4,169 votes with James “Bubba” Cobb receiving 1,660.
Following the final results last night, Grills praised the support from residents in the three counties.(AUDIO)
The vote tally in Obion County was Grills 1,249 and Cobb 408.
In Dyer County, Grills collected 2,437 votes to Cobb’s 1,121 with Grills also taking Lake County with a vote tally of 483 to 131.
