A Martin man, taken into custody in Union City, was found to be wanted by the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Union City police reports said 28 year old Octavio Nunez Camacho was arrested following a traffic stop on South Clover Street.
After the stop, Camacho informed the officer of no valid driver’s license, with a National Crime Information Center check indicating he was wanted by the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
A search of Camacho’s vehicle resulted in the finding of a methamphetamine smoking pipe, a small amount of marijuana, and a stolen Smith and Wesson .38-caliber revolver.
Police reports said Camacho was a convicted felon for possession of explosive materials or firearms.
He was taken to the Obion County Jail.
