A big crowd gathered at Elam Stadium on Saturday night to support the “Battle of the Badges” softball game fundraiser.
The Union City Police Department and the Obion County Sheriffs Office played at Elam Stadium to benefit the annual Christmas season “Shop With a Cop” program.
“Shop With a Cop” brings law enforcement officers together to assist needy children with clothing, shoes and toys.
Reports said over 600 people were on hand to watch the softball game and enjoy a fish supper.
Union City police outscored the Sheriffs Department 7-2.
