A Christmas fundraiser will take place Saturday night, involving officers with the Union City Police Department and Obion County Sheriff’s Office.
The first annual “Battle of the Badges” will take place with a softball game pitting the two law enforcement agencies.
The game will take place at Elam Stadium in Union City, and will also include fish and hot dog plates for attendees.
Gates will open at 5:30, with admission $5.00 per person.
Game time has been set for 6:30, with all funds raised going to assist the Union City Police Department “Shop With a Cop” event for local children.
