The United States Department of Agriculture has released their latest report on Tennessee crops.
The USDA said 87-percent of the state corn crops are now in the silking stage, with 70-percent of soybeans in the “blooming” stage.
In the crop condition report this week, 38-percent of corn was listed as “good” with 13-percent rated as “excellent”.
Soybeans were rated at 44-percent “good” and 14-percent “excellent”.
