A Ballard County woman had to be extricated from a vehicle following a crash into a railroad overpass.
McCracken County Sheriffs Office reports said Amanda Selph, of Kevil, was driving a GMC Yukon on Blandville Road when she lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle left the roadway and struck the wooden support beam for the railroad overpass.
Ms. Selph suffered incapacitating injuries, and was transported to a local hospital for initial treatment.
Blandville Road was closed between McCracken Blvd. and Childress Road for approximately two-and-a-half hours.
