Tennessee tourism generated a record breaking $30.6 billion in direct visitor spending in 2023 along with having 144 million visitors to the state.
Visitors to Tennessee spent an average of $84 million each day of 2023 leading to a 25% increase in tourism spending over the last two years.
Visitor spending also helped to sustain 191,000 jobs, one of every 24 jobs in the state.
Tennessee visitors reached 144 million in 2023, up three million over 2022.
