Union City police were called to investigate stolen items at Food Plaza on West Reelfoot Avenue.
An employee told officers that a black male, who was wearing a ballcap and grey shirt, came into the store and took six $30 dollar scratch-off tickets from behind the counter.
Camera footage said the same male, along with a white female, came back that afternoon around 6:30.
The male again took a $30 scratch-off ticket and puff vape from behind the counter.
A lottery ticket, similar to those stolen earlier, was brought into the store and cashed out for $100.
Police reports said the total loss to Food Plaza was approximately $277.
Officers are now trying to determine the identity of both individuals who took part in the theft.
