Two Weakley County Residents Arrested in Union City on Outstanding Warrants

Charges and arrests were made to two Weakley County residents following a traffic stop in Union City.

Police reports said a traffic stop on East Reelfoot Avenue resulted in the arrest of the driver, 41 year old Lonnie Lord Nelson of Martin, and passenger, 33 year old Jeremy Lane Perry of Sharon.

A National Crime Information Center check revealed Nelson had an active warrant from Weakley County for failure to appear, and a violation of probation warrant in Carroll County.

He was also charged with operating a vehicle on a revoked license.

Perry was taken into custody on three active warrants from Obion County, which included theft over $1,000, failure to appear and conspiracy to commit theft over $1,000.

He also had an active warrant in Weakley County for failure to appear.
