Union City police were called to a burglary at Subway, on East Reelfoot Avenue.
On Sunday, an employee discovered damage to the back door which leads to other businesses in the suite.
After police cleared the building for a potential suspect, it was determined an unknown amount of money had been taken from a safe at Subway.
Police are now gathering information and evidence in the investigation.
