The State of Tennessee has announced the date for their annual sales tax holiday.
From Friday, July 26th thru Sunday, July 28th, Tennesseans can save nearly ten-percent on qualifying clothing, school supplies and computers.
During the three day period, clothing and school supplies are tax exempt if priced $100 or less, with computers tax exempt if priced at $1,500 or less.
Qualifying items may be purchased online and in stores.
Governor Bill Lee offered his appreciation to the General Assembly for providing the tax relief, and encouraged all families to take advantage of the back-to-school savings.
The July sales tax holiday will be the only tax exempt event this year.
