The City of Hickman has named a new City Manager.
Jennie Overall, of Union City, was selected for the position following a series of interviews.
Ms. Overall comes to Hickman after several years of service for the City of Murray.
She told Thunderbolt News about her decision to seek the position in Hickman.(AUDIO)
Ms. Overall said she looked forward to working with the department heads, staff and community, and has also set a goal to help the city grow.(AUDIO)
Ms. Overall will begin her work on July 16th, with former City Manager David Gallagher to remain with the city to assist with some ongoing infrastructure projects.
