Landfall Monday morning from a Category 1 hurricane in Texas could mean some heavy rainfall for parts of the Ken-Tenn area.
Hurricane Beryl moved ashore and is now a tropical storm bringing heavy rain, winds and thunderstorms.
The National Weather Service says the path of the tropical system will move through the local area, with rain and possible thunderstorms to begin on Tuesday.
Currently, indications of rainfall are being place at between two-to-four inches before Wednesday night.
The Ken-Tenn area has been placed in a slight risk category for the possibility of severe thunderstorms on Wednesday.
