An investigation into the death of a local law enforcement K-9 Unit continues.
Fulton County Sheriff Chad Parker released a statement on June 23rd, stating he had received a report of the death of Shogun, the K-9 Unit for the Sheriff’s Office.
After receiving the information, Sheriff Parker contacted Kentucky State Police at Post 1 Mayfield to request an investigation surrounding the circumstances of the dog’s death.
In his statement, Sheriff Parker said the exact cause of death could not be confirmed until the investigation is complete.
