UT-Martin Professor Presented Highest UT System Honor

University of Tennessee System President Randy Boyd recently presented his President’s Awards.

During the annual UT Board of Trustees meeting in Knoxville, President Boyd honored 15 faculty and staff members from across the system.

The honorees were recognized for the accomplishments and dedication to the UT System, following their nomination by campus and institute leaders.

Included in the presentation was Dr. Joseph Ostenson, a professor of psychology and interim director for the UT-Martin Center for Global Engagement and Experience.

With the university’s highest honor in the “Optimistic and Visionary” category, Dr. Ostenson received a commemorative plaque and monetary award of $3,000.
